Step 2: Provide required information

- Number of parking spaces needed (usually 2 to 4 consecutive spaces depending on truck size and adjacent maneuvering room).

Step 3: Pay the permit fee

Step 4: Wait for approval

Step 5: Pick up and display signage
Once approved, you (or the moving company on your behalf) must pick up or print the official signage and install it at the parking location at least 48 to 72 hours before the permit start time. This advance posting notifies other drivers and parking enforcement that the spaces will be reserved. Place the signs at both ends of the reserved area, on the curb side, clearly visible to passing traffic.
Step 6: Day of the move
On the day of the move, the reserved spaces should be empty (other drivers who saw the signage moved their cars).
