A flat-pack wardrobe has 80 to 200 parts. An IKEA PAX system can have over 400. Pottery Barn beds use proprietary hardware. West Elm media consoles require two people minimum. Pricing
Assembly is billed hourly, with a 2-hour minimum. Standard rate for 2026 in Miami: $95–$140 USD per hour for a 2-person team. Flat-rate quotes are available for specific items:
- IKEA MALM bed frame: $95 USD
- IKEA PAX wardrobe (2-door): $220–$320 USD
- Crib: $140 USD
- Standard desk: $110 USD
- Treadmill: $220 USD
Wall mounting (TVs, floating shelves) is a separate line item starting at $130 USD per TV, including stud finder, level, and the appropriate mount if you don't have one.
Disassembly too
Moving out and need to break down a wardrobe to fit through a doorway? Same crews handle disassembly with care: hardware is bagged and labeled, panels are wrapped to prevent scratches, and we photograph the original assembly so we can put it back together correctly at the destination.
Why Miami homes need professional assembly
High-rise apartment doors
Many condos in Brickell, Edgewater, and Sunny Isles have doorways under 30 inches wide. A fully assembled king bed frame doesn't fit. We either assemble it inside the unit or disassemble at origin and reassemble at destination.
Humidity and outdoor furniture
Miami's salt air destroys cheap outdoor furniture in months. We tighten every bolt to spec, apply rust-resistant thread locker on key joints, and recommend rust-prevention sprays for hardware exposed to the elements on rooftop terraces and pool decks.
Hurricane considerations
Bookcases over 5 feet tall should be anchored to the wall — Florida building code recommends it, and any seismic engineer will tell you it matters even in non-earthquake zones because of high-wind events. We include anchor installation in any tall-furniture assembly at no extra charge.
Tools and parts we bring

Standard kit includes: cordless drill (Bosch/Milwaukee), full hex/Torx/Phillips set, stud finder, laser level, rubber mallet, furniture sliders, anchors for drywall and concrete, and a spare-parts box for stripped screws and missing dowels (yes, IKEA sometimes ships short).
